Our Story:
My name is Stephanie Conrad. I started Pink Ribbon Pet Sitting in January of 2008 for one reason; I love animals. After working in the Veterinary world for nearly 5 years, I started to take care of several clients pets with medical needs while they were away on vacation. Things grew from there and before I knew it I had several regular clients. At that point I decided to obtain my DBA and become a member of the small business world.

Running the Business:
I don't believe I could have been able to handle the stress that comes along with starting a business alone. My wonderful boyfriend (of nearly 7 years) has offered me every bit of help that he can. From caring for clients part time to keeping me sane during tax time, Chris is 100% involved in Pink Ribbon Pet Sitting and offers everything he has to help out.

Why Pink Ribbon?
In 2001 my grandmother passed away after a battle with Breast Cancer and after debating on the name for my pet sitting service, we decided on Pink Ribbon Pet Sitting, not only as a tribute to her, but as support to the millions of people around the world surviving breast cancer or surviving the loss of a loved one due to breast cancer. I donate a percentage of all of my profits to support breast cancer research and donate my time when I am available to support breast cancer fundraisers and events.

Qualifications and Certifications:
With over seven years of experience in the Animal World, Pink Ribbon offers only the best care to your pets. I have worked with the Houston SPCA, Austin Humane Society, Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter, Lucky Mutts Rescue (foster), Great Oaks Animal Hospital, Premier Animal Hospital and am currently affiliated with and support many other rescue organizations in the Austin area. In addition to work experience, I am a Certified Canine and Feline Behavior Specialist and certified in Canine CPR. Pink Ribbon Pet Sitting is fully insured through Pet Sitters Associates, LLC and offers references to all new clients.

What Next?
In addition to Pet Sitting, I also run a small start-up business called The Pet Studio. The Pet Studio offers custom pet paintings of your best friends. I am very excited about this new venture and am working hard to promote and build up this second business. Art has been a passion of mine since I was very very young and I am thrilled to be able to share that piece of me with others.

The Team
...

Our Furry Team

Holly Madison
Pit Bull / Dalmatian Mix

Holly is my sweet (but sometimes a little crazy) Pit Bull mix. She is full of energy and will attack everyone she meets (as true with most Pit Bulls)... with love.

In addition to her violent kisses, she spends her free time (aka, my free time) out on the agility course running with her four legged friends.

Cody Odie
Dach. / Scottish Terrier Mix

Cody, oh my little Cody.

Cody is about seven years old now and has been my faithful little companion through thick and thin. After moving from Houston to Austin, Cody adjusted well to his new life here with his 2 kitty siblings and sister Holly. Cody's favorite activities include sleeping and of course eating.

Jazz and Izze
Domestic Longhaired Kitties

Jazz and Izze are joined at the hip. They can be found snoozing in a furry ball just about every afternoon.

Jazz is my Black kitty, he is extremely social and annoys every guest that comes to visit.
Izze is a little shy, but when the house is quiet and she is confortable, you can hear her purr for miles.
